The End is Near

Its sad but the growing season is coming to an end. Our beautiful garden that I started from dirt is starting to show the signs of the impending winter.
It is now March in Southland which means we have started to have cold nights and frosty mornings.
It also means that my super steroid-like garden is starting to act like a "normal" garden.
I can't havest a salad bar from the ground daily like I did in the summer.
I have used up almost all of my lettuce. Broccoli is long gone.
The good thing is that my onions and carrots are still growing.

Harvesting the last of my lettuce

Looks like we are going to have to go back to shopping at the supermarket.  It was fun while it lasted!
